Round 2.

So maybe I didn’t post for a few months. More, like half a year really. And you know what, that’s ok.

But you didn’t get rid of me. Not even close. It’s actually the complete opposite. I’ve officially bought a domain name, so things are clearly getting serious.

Today I want to talk about trying to build your “brand.” I’m going to be honest. I don’t know much about this because I’m learning to do it for myself for the first time. I’ve done brand building for organizations that I’ve worked for, but never for me personally. If I’m being introspective here, that’s why I was away for so long. I didn’t know how to approach the blog life, which side note, I tried to make my site a .com instead of a .blog, but that domain name was already taken. Womp Womp. Back to my previous thought, I wasn’t sure how I should approach this. What should I write about, what topics should I focus on, which are off limits?

I still don’t know.

But here I am, Elle, the Sass Queen of Camelot, coming to you live and unfiltered and in all my spicy glory. What’s my brand?

But if I had to choose three words for it, I’d say: Sassy. Real. and with a touch of Self-depricating Humor.

Ok, so that’s more than three words, but it’s my blog, I do what I want.
